WANTED: Notes of Appreciation and Great Memories to Sha

We want to truly celebrate Jim and FayEllen Haddix's time among us. We are making a book and filling it with your notes of appreciation, memories of good times, silly times, fun times, hard times shared get the idea. We want this to be a Memory Book that they can enjoy for years to come. If you have pictures you're willing to share...we want those too! The Book will be presented to the Haddix family on Sunday, December 4th at our church reception/celebration. Your contributions need to be in our hands no later than Sunday, November 6. They can be left in the memory box in the table in the Great Hall outside the meetinghouse. They can also be submitted electronically to Carol C

I walked into the room. People were sitting in comfortable chairs, some at tables but for all the appearance of a crowd, the place was strangely silent. No one looked up or acknowledged I had entered. They were not rude, really. They actually weren’t there. Their bodies were, to be sure, but they were elsewhere. The little screens in their hands had captured them again and carried them away. I am finding this repeatedly wherever I go.
