2018 Annual Bazaar | Your Help is Needed!

The Annual Bazaar has been scheduled for Saturday, November 17th from 9:00AM to 2:00PM This is a wonderful tradition that is enjoyed by many in the church and surrounding community each year, which includes over 15 booths, a Café in the Vestry, and the Coffee Shoppe. The backbone of the All Souls Annual Bazaar are the volunteers - many, many, volunteers! Volunteering is a great way to work with your church friends and meet new faces from the community. We are looking for more helpers, specifically someone to assist with the luncheon and someone to assist with the ever-popular gift baskets. Bazaar Gift Baskets | Items Needed

The annual Bazaar at All Souls is always an exciting time of year. An opportunity for fellowship, meeting new members of our church family and a way to support All Souls. The Gift Basket Booth is very popular with our shoppers. The variety of “Themed Baskets” and their presentation is key to the success we have experienced. Would you consider donating a gift basket this year? If you are new to this we have many ideas for baskets and will be very happy to help you out. In the past people have both brought in items with or without baskets. We are asking if possible to include a basket, bucket, tin or any appropriate container that works for your theme. Bazaar Candy Shoppe | Candy-Making Workshops and Donations Needed

In preparation for the Nov. 12th, 14th & 15th candy-making workshops, we are asking for donations of ingredients needed to make our delicious products. If you are unable to attend one of the workshops, this is a good way to contribute to the cause and help out. Here are some of the ingredients we will need: granulated sugar REAL butter marshmallow fluff semisweet chocolate morsels semi-sweet chocolate squares (Baker’s brand preferred) white Karo syrup evaporated milk sweetened condensed milk creamy peanut butter large eggs peanuts walnuts pecans Donated items may be labeled CANDY and left in the church office or kitchen refrigerator, as needed. Bazaar Meals to Go | Meals Needed

“Meals to Go” are meals home cooked by All Souls Members and Friends! Do you make a great casserole, soup or fabulous baked beans? Would you be willing to contribute an item to our Meals to Go booth at the annual Bazaar? If so please contact Elizabeth Hayward,, for details.

Bazaar Luncheon | Help and Table Sponsors Needed

The luncheon at the Annual All Souls Bazaar needs your help! We need donations of six batches of corn chowder (recipe will be provided) and 15 - 20 pies of any kind. We are also in need of volunteers to serve as wait staff, kitchen crew, and/or dishwashers. Basically helpers of all sorts! If you want to help make the luncheon a success; we want you! Bazaar | Bread Making Workshop

If you’ve been loafing around, feeling a kneed to get involved in this Bazaar thing, join the “Flour Power” crew. There is no breader workshop to be a part of! You must rise to the occasion. It’s the yeast you can do. Join us Thursday afternoon November 15th any time after 1 pm and go ‘til the oven goes cold. (Succulent savory samples for all!! ) So help get this thing rolling!!! Bring a big bowl, your favorite flour, and let’s make some dough! Special event flour grinding on the spot! Middle & high school youth are welcome if you sign up ahead of time. Bazaar | New "Pie +" Workshop

Friday, November 16th, from 9:00 am until we finish! This year we will be expanding our offerings to include other baked goods such as quick breads, cheesecakes, apple crisps, and tarts. We would love to have many hands to help lighten the load and share in the fun. Bazaar Cookie Nook | Bakers Needed

The Cookie Nook at our Church Bazaar will sell over 125 dozen cookies on Bazaar Day. We need a lot of bakers to bake 3 dozen or more of your favorite cookie or bars. We ask our bakers to sign up on the Cookie List that will be posted near the church office Nov 1. Or you can email Dale Wilkes at We need to know your name, email/phone#, type of cookie, and how many. It helps us to know what kind of cookies are coming in so that we can answer those who ask “what kind do you need?” Cookies should be delivered to the Cookie Nook (Room C) no later than Friday noon, Nov 16. All Souls Women's Association | First Tuesday of the Month

The All Souls Women's Association will hold this season's first monthly luncheon meeting at 11:30 AM (NEW TIME!) on Tuesday, October 2nd at All Souls in Room A. All women, members and friends, of All Souls are welcome to join. Bring your own bag lunch, such as a sandwich, and dessert and hot tea will be provided.
