Our Church Benevolences

Our mission budget or benevolences is kept between 10% and 15% of membership giving and is a significant part of our overall budget..  These funds are given to organizations near and far to support work that is in keeping with the mission and vision of All Souls.  Our Board of Deacons is responsible for leading the church in its benevolences and are guided by its own carefully developed principles of Christian mission.  They seek to support missions that address one of more of the following:

• Make new Christians by drawing people to Christ and into his service.

• Do the things we believe Christ wants us to do, such as provide for the homeless, the marginalized, and others in need. 

• Allow us to actively serve with our own hands. For example, at Habitat for Humanity, in our work as local meal providers, our service on Boards and in governmental, educational, business, financial, criminal justice, social service positions, etc.
