Showing off the Moeller Organ-A Special Recital with Kay Eames

“Organ Favorites” Organ Recital, May 15, All Souls Church

Kay Eames will play a recital of “Organ Favorites” at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 15, at All Souls Church, Bangor. Anne Small will participate on organ and flute. Solos and duets will include pieces by J. S. Bach, Buxtehude, F. Couperin, and Bédard. One of the J.S. Bach pieces will be his monumental Prelude and Fugue in F Major (BWV 540). Kay will also play Revelations by Pinkham. Some of the shorter pieces on the program will be included in the CD recording Kay will be releasing in the fall. All the selections are favorites of Kay, or of her congregation over the last few decades while she has been Music Director at the church. Donations will be accepted for the Pipe Organ Reserve Fund at All Souls Church.
