Children's Sunday, May 22
Worship Service will be lead by the children of All Souls on Sunday, May 22nd.
This is a long-standing tradition to mark the end of the Church-School year and celebrate the work of our pre-K through Middle School classes. For the younger students this means doing some group readings or songs, for the older students this means leading the prayers, reading scriptures, or doing some other sort of sharing as part of the worship service.
Our children are also invited to create a bulletin cover. If your child would like to submit a colored drawing for the bulletin covers, please send a picture of their art to Becka Timms. You can also bring the original to church on SUNDAY MAY 15TH. All artwork needs to be submitted by the 15th in order to be included in the program covers. The art work needs to be faith related -- sometimes children have done a picture of them and their family at church or a depiction of the world in God's hands or a colorful cross or even a depiction of creation or the Fruits of the Spirit. Please have your children take their time and do their best work :) Names shouldn't be on them but when you send them, let Becka know who created it so she can include names in the bulletin for those who contributed cover art.
Immediately following the Service, we invite everyone to an All-Church lunch picnic in the Vestry for fellowship and celebration, sponsored by the Board of Christian Education.
