Thanksgiving (Bread) Sunday | November 19

Members and friends of All Souls Church are invited to bring a loaf of bread to the worship service on Thanksgiving Sunday, November 19th.

Upon entering the Meetinghouse, please place your bread in the baskets located at the Chancel (front of the Meetinghouse). Following the service, each household will be invited to take a loaf of bread as you leave the church to share at your table on Thanksgiving Day. Thus, when sitting down for Thanksgiving dinner, a visible and sustaining reminder of the community of faith will be on the table. Bake bread if you can, or simply buy a loaf to bring with you; either way you’ll carry away the offering of another. Freely give and freely receive, help multiply the sense of sharing and blessing for this wonderful holiday.
