Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus...
This year's stewardship campaign theme comes from the book of Philippians. In this letter, Paul challenges the Christians in Philippi to model their lives after Jesus Christ. The verse above is followed by a reminder that Christ's life was ultimately one of service and sacrifice.
As Christians, we are called to the same in every aspect of our living. This year's stewardship campaign calls us to consider the same goal as it relates to our giving.
What we do with our financial resources and how we use those resources to support God's work in the world is an important part of our own spiritual growth, but also a necessity when it comes to the local church. Simply put, we cannot continue to do the work to which we are called without the generosity of our members and friends.
If you have made a pledge toward the 2018 budget year, thank you. If you have not, please consider doing so. If you have not already received a pledge card simply call or email and we will get one out to you as soon as possible.
The video below is from October 29, Stewardship Sunday, and includes the stewardship sermon given by Rev. Poland. We hope you enjoy it and more importantly, we hope it challenges you to give as Christ gave. Thank you for your support.
