The 18th annual All Souls Women's Spiritual Retreat: March 17-18

As we have for the last several years, women of all ages who are members or friends of All Souls will gather in Bar Harbor for an overnight retreat. It's an informal and low-key time away for a bit of rest, contemplation and sharing on a spiritual theme, good food, fellowship and fun. Overnight accommodations are at Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and the Bar Harbor Congregational Church allows us to use their lovely space for our gathering. (Friday check-in at the hotel is 3:00 or later; dinner at the church is 5:30. The retreat ends at 4:00 Saturday.)

This year's title is "Woven Together—The Tapestry of Our Life in Christ." Sally Kirkpatrick and Lois Dvorak will use Scriptural passages having to do with fabric arts such as spinning, weaving, and fabrics in general to guide our thinking about our spiritual journeys and our lives together in the body of Christ. We will enjoy some "hands on" experiences with these fabric arts, too!

The $105 per person registration fee covers a shared hotel room (you can arrange your own roommate if you like!) and all other costs. (For a scholarship, contact Rev. Renee Garrett.) Registration deadline is Thursday February 16. You can call the church office at 942-7354 to say "hold a place for me!" and have a registration form emailed to you.
