A new year is upon us as well as new opportunities to gather in fellowship and learning. The next round of Tuesday Nights Together sessions will begin on Tuesday, January 9th. If you are interested please register as soon as possible so we can have the necessary materials on hand.
You are welcome to register for both. These are separate offerings, however, so be sure to visit both links if you are plan on participating in both. A brief description and registration links are below.
5:00 p.m. Braving the Thin Places by Julianne Stanz – “A thing place is where God and humanity meet in a mysterious way”. Join us for this book study where we will explore together these raw and beautiful moments. Braving the Thin Places Registration Form
6:00 p.m. Dinner Open to all, not just those participating in the discussion and program. Meals are served buffet style and people are asked to make a $4.00 donation for the meal or $12.00 for a family. The first Tuesday of the month however, the prepared meal will be replaced with a potluck. Participants are encouraged to bring a dish to share.
7:00 p.m. Forgive: Why Should I and How Can I? by Timothy Keller. Participants will read and discuss the importance of forgiveness as well as explore the suggested steps to take “in order to move on without sacrificing justice or your humanity”. Forgive Registration Form
If you aren’t interested in either of the studies but would like to join us for a meal on a regular basis, please contact the Church Office so we can include you in the estimate for the kitchen crew.
Join us for a hands-on mending workshop! Bring sewing supplies and an item in need of repair. Sally Kirkpatrick will guide the mending and share tips as well as Christian reflection on mending.
