Introduce yourself to someone at church you don't know

Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it. -Hebrews 13:2

Go outside at night and look at the stars for 10 minutes. (You might have to/want to leave the city.)

After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, ‘Do not be afraid, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.’ But Abram said, ‘O Lord God, what will you give me, for I continue childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?’ And Abram said, ‘You have given me no offspring, and so a slave born in my house is to be my heir.’ But the word of the Lord came to him, ‘This man shall not be your heir; no one but your very own issue shall be your heir.’ He brought him outside and said, ‘Look towards heaven and count the stars, if you are able to count them.’ Then he said to him, ‘So shall your descendants be.’ And he believed the Lord; and the Lord reckoned it to him as righteousness. -Genesis 15:1-6

Invite someone to worship.

O come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! -Psalm 95:1-2

Say a prayer for the church.

Finally, brothers and sisters, pray for us, so that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified everywhere, just as it is among you, -2 Thessalonians 3:1

Choose a meaningful scripture passage and commit it to memory.

I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word. -Psalm 119:16

Plant a garden vegetable and donate your crop to a food cupboard.

When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap to the very edges of your field, or gather the gleanings of your harvest; you shall leave them for the poor and for the alien: I am the Lord your God. -Leviticus 23:22

Pray with someone else.

Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective. -James 5:16

Send an encouraging card to someone.

Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing. -1 Thessalonians 5:11

Take a nap.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. -Matthew 11:29

Take a walk/go for a hike.

And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments; this is the commandment just as you have heard it from the beginning—you must walk in it. -2 John 1:6

Read a gospel.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel; it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. -Romans 1:16

Invite another household to dinner or to participate in an outing.

Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God. -Romans 15:7

Learn a dumb joke and tell it to someone. (Make someone laugh or at least groan.)

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace. -Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Read a Bible/faith story to a child.

Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise. -Deuteronomy 6:6-7

Bake a treat and drop it off at a neighbor’s house.

O taste and see that the Lord is good; happy are those who take refuge in him. -Psalm 34:8

Walk barefoot in the grass or wade in a body of water.

But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith! -Luke 12:28

Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel that was tied around him. -John 13:5

Eat some produce right off the tree/vine/plant.

You make springs gush forth in the valleys they flow between the hills, giving drink to every wild animal the wild asses quench their thirst. By the streams the birds of the air have their habitation; they sing among the branches. From your lofty abode you water the mountains; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of your work. You cause the grass to grow for the cattle, and plants for people to use, to bring forth food from the earth, and wine to gladden the human heart, oil to make the face shine, and bread to strengthen the human heart. -Psalm 104:10-15

Read a book from the Old Testament.

Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. -Psalm 119:104-105

Read a book from the New Testament other than a gospel.

All scripture is inspired by God and is[a] useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness -2 Timothy 3:16

Give away something you own.

So therefore, none of you can become my disciple if you do not give up all your possessions. -Luke 14:33

Learn to cook/bake/craft something that is new to you.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect. -Romans 12:2

Pray or read scripture instead of meals for a day (If your health allows.)

And whenever you fast, do not look dismal, like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces so as to show others that they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that your fasting may be seen not by others but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you. -Matthew 6:16-18

Give someone a hug. (Be sure to ask first.)

So he set off and went to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion; he ran and put his arms around him and kissed him. -Luke 15:20

Find something in a cloud shape.

Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides upon the clouds—his name is the Lord—be exultant before him. -Psalm 68:4

Sing a hymn at home by yourself, with your family, or with a friend.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God. -Colossians 3:16

Do a kindness for a stranger.

By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things. -Galatians 5:22-23
