See That Guitar?

You may notice that the picture is a bit fuzzy except for the guitar...That Guitar played to appreciative audiences of children and adults alike in the neighborhoods around Cuidad Vieja on our visit to Guatemala in 2015. That Guitar stayed in Guatemala and has been added to the musical instruments used for teaching students in Kairos. Kairos is the Christian School that sponsors us while we are in Guatemala. What is especially wonderful is the way That Guitar made it to Guatemala. A member of All Souls who is mission minded and who no longer plays the six string instrument donated it. Spring Student Piano Performance | May 20

Please join us for our SPRING STUDENT PIANO PERFORMANCE, which will take place at All Souls on Saturday, May 20 at 2:00 p.m. Five Bangor area piano teachers have each chosen two or three of their students making the best progress to play on this program. The students are from novice to intermediate/advanced, elementary school age to adult. Composers include Mendelssohn, Bartok, and Debussy. The public is invited to the Student Performance; as part of the Arlan A. Baillie Steinway series of events, admission is free.

POSTPONED--Labor For Your Neighbor-May 13

DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE HABITAT PROJECTS PLANNED CANNOT BE CARRIED OUT UNTIL WE GET SOME DRIER WEATHER...TENTATIVE NEW DATE JUNE 3...STAY TUNED!!! We are excited to be coming alongside Habitat for Humanity for a day of Labor for Your Neighbor! Please join us on Saturday, May 13 to help our Bangor "Tree Streets" neighbors. We will help with some hands-on projects such as porch and step painting and yard clean up. As it is National Women Build Week, Habitat for Humanity is especially encouraging Women to volunteer. However Men and teens ages 14 plus are welcome as well! Please stay tuned for more information on the time and place of meeting. We hope to see you there!

EPIC Church School Sunday | May 21

We will be celebrating the end of another school year with our Church School students participating in the Worship Service on Sunday, May 21st! We will have an All-Church picnic immediately following the Service in the Vestry. We hope you enjoy!

Installation & Reception for Rev. Poland | May 7

There will be an installation for our new minister Rev. Chad L. Poland next Sunday, May 7th at 6:30 PM. The Coordinating Committee will be hosting a reception immediately following. The Committee is also requesting donations of dessert type finger-food: bite-sized cookies, brownies, and bars. Please contact the Church Office for more information.
